PacifiCorp is a leading utility company seeking an experienced Regulatory Discovery Manager to join their team in Portland, OR. As a key member of the regulatory department, you will be responsible for managing the company's regulatory discovery process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to data requests. Your expertise in regulatory compliance and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be invaluable in driving PacifiCorp's success.

About the Role:
The Regulatory Discovery Manager will oversee the entire data request process, from assigning questions to responders to facilitating and participating in regulatory reviews. You will ensure that all responses are reviewed, approved, formatted, and ready for shipment on time. Additionally, you will represent the regulation department in support of the company's regulatory objectives and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily assignments of data requests, due dates, resolve discovery issues, and provide guidance to business unit coordinators and responders.
  • Review and coordinate staff review of data responses for accuracy, consistency, and support of company positions.
  • Coordinate with approvers/reviewers within the business units, legal counsel, and regulation management to ensure all responses are reviewed, approved, formatted, and ready to ship on time.
  • Represent the regulation department in support of the company's regulatory objectives and initiatives.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, business, economics, engineering, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of seven years related regulatory experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organization, including people with different styles and backgrounds, to influence actions and negotiate outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to review draft responses.
  • Competency in working within a rapid turn-around operation while maintaining strong attention to detail and assuring consistency in the company's data responses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish trust, maintain confidence, and understand social behavior and interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, meet project deadlines, and work outside of normal business hours as needed to accomplish objectives.
  • Understanding of utility commission rules and regulations and applicable state and local laws.

Benefits:
PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $100,700 - $118,400, plus an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
