At Cleveland Clinic, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures, including GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, and spine center exams.
  • Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
  • Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately.
  • Notify management and take proper action to address equipment malfunctions.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures.
  • Monitor and determine priority of patients.
  • Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
  • Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS.
  • Capable of after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork.
  • Report immediately any malfunctions to help desk and PACS Administrator.
  • Process billing via RIS.
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
  • Continually strive to learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.
  • Potentially rotate through all diagnostic imaging modalities, sites, and/or locations.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications: Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment.
  • (BLS) certification required.
