About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud security technologies, including design, implementation, and support. You will be responsible for leading complex projects, troubleshooting issues, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support relevant cyber security technology solutions.
  • Provide technical administration, including troubleshooting, break-fix operations, patching, and day-to-day activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and investigate organizational objectives and needs.
  • Lead research, proof-of-concept, selection, and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Conduct advanced-level analysis and provide opinion on disputes and contrasts.
  • Explore new technologies, solutions, and methods to improve business processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relevant metrics, controls, and governance administration related to cyber security technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience within a Cyber and/or Information Security organization within the financial services industry.
  • Applicable technology and/or security certifications (e.g. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), etc.).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $133,271.20 and $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation/sick time, 401K with company match, medical, dental, and vision benefits, disability benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, life insurance, parental leave, employee assistance program, and associate volunteer program.

Location

This role is based at our Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, Alabama.
