Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Aquatics Supervisor to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a key member of our waterpark operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in lifeguarding, training, and supervision, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training and supervision of lifeguards to ensure they are equipped to respond to emergencies and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage the lifeguard team in their assigned area, enforcing park rules and regulations, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Perform supervisory tasks, including resolving conflicts, coaching and developing team members, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a team-oriented approach.
  • 2+ years of experience in aquatics operations, including lifeguarding, lifeguard training, swim instruction, and CPO/AFO.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to swim 50 yards in 4 ft. of water and retrieve a 10 lb brick at the bottom of the water.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a humid, warm environment and be immersed in water for extended periods of time.
  • Position sometimes requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs.
