We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Manager, Operating Room at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the OR, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff in the OR
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and training to staff on new procedures and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- Three years of progressive nursing experience, with at least two years in a leadership role
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
