About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy team at Indiana University Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring optimal medication management for patient care, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 1-2 Pharmacy Techs and provide guidance on medication-related care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve patient drug therapy outcomes
  • Assist the pharmacy director with preparing and performing activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee
  • Implement new processes and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations
  • Manage inventory and oversee the financial performance of the pharmacy
Requirements
  • Current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist
  • PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy
  • 5-7 years pharmacist experience required
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics
  • Management experience preferred
  • Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred
  • Immunization certification highly preferred
  • State or National Pharmacy organization involvement a plus
