Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee all field operations for our Tenant Improvement projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures are administered on construction sites, monitoring and troubleshooting construction processes from beginning to completion, and coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve field problems.
Key Responsibilities- Review new projects for assignment of job supervision and distribution of field responsibilities
- Coordinate transition of field staff changes
- Oversee equipment and tool inventory lists from superintendents
- Liaison between superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve field problems
- Coordinate completion of all punch list items with superintendents, subcontractors, and corporate, follow up with warranty work
- Job site inspections of all projects for quality control
- Attend department head meetings, hold field meetings, maintain current meeting minutes, and make field staffing suggestions
- Project a professional image by meeting company dress code standards
- Ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner with building managers, tenants, architects, subcontractors, and company employees
- Ability to read plans and troubleshoot construction delays
- Capable of making independent decisions to accomplish tasks while maintaining construction schedule integrity
- CA-OSHA training
- Software knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Timberline preferred
