About Our Client

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Professional to support a 24-year-old male client in Binghamton, New York. Our client requires assistance with daily living activities, medical management, and social engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized attendant/companionship services to the client, ensuring their safety, security, and comfort at all times.
  • Collaborate with the LPN to maintain the tracheotomy, suprapubic tube, and colostomy, adhering to medical protocols and best practices.
  • Support the client with managing medications, including administering G-tube feedings under supervision.
  • Assist the client with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Engage the client in stimulating activities, providing emotional support, and fostering meaningful relationships.
  • Document daily activities, observations, and concerns on shift logs, ensuring accurate and thorough records.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, contacting relevant parties and activating emergency services as necessary.

Requirements and Expectations

  • CPR/BLS certification is mandatory; experience in critical care settings is an asset.
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a student nurse, CNA, HCA, or PCA is required.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for accompanying the client to appointments and outings.
