Job Overview

National Garden Service is seeking a skilled Garden Center Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing displays of outdoor plants in our partner stores.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for plants, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and display a variety of outdoor plants
  • Maintain product displays and ensure they are visually appealing
  • Water all plant materials and develop a watering plan with the floral department manager
  • Ensure proper signage is in place and maintain a safe and clean display area
  • Interact with store personnel and customers, and develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
  • Complete reports for each store serviced and document every visit using the Repsly app

Requirements:

  • Must have a smart phone and a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all elements and lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively
  • Preferred experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
