Senior Federal Program Director

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to support a federal government client in Baltimore. This position involves significant client interaction, allowing you to understand their needs and serve as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance and direction at the program level.
- Support the delivery team in implementing SAFe best practices and methodologies.
- Manage complex projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, including BPA leads and contracting officers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals for task orders as requested by the government.
- Review and approve all deliverables before submission to the client.
- Oversee financial management of the program, coordinating with the Operations team.
- Present program status and updates at internal project health reviews.
- Proven experience in Agile coaching and implementation.
- Minimum of 5 years in a management position overseeing various government contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage costs, schedules, and service performance to meet defined SLAs.
- Strong experience leading teams of 10 or more.
- Familiarity with delivering technical projects, particularly in low code/no code environments.
- Background in IT service delivery management, including managing SLAs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and teaming partners.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow (ITSM & CSM).
- Familiarity with CCSQ operations.
- Prior experience managing a BPA.
- Proficiency in Atlassian JIRA.
- Experience with Human-Centered Design principles.
