As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and clinical expertise to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise's quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each resident are met.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including assessments, progress notes, and medication management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or License Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Minimum two (2) years RN/LVN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/provincial and board of nursing requirements.
