Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the formulation of quotations for product and project orders, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on their application requirements.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Leverage technical expertise to create comprehensive quotation packages.
  • Prepare bills of materials for standard and straightforward SFT projects.
  • Analyze customer specifications and align products accordingly.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to confirm that quotes are technically sound and competitive, ensuring all project specifications are addressed.
  • Grasp the Sales Engineers' quoting strategy to guarantee competitive proposals.
  • Communicate contractual, technical, and commercial terms effectively.
  • Deliver quotation packages with insights on exceptions and added value for Sales Leaders during client presentations.
  • Collaborate throughout the process to facilitate successful order conversion.
Utilize advanced tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications for Success:

This position may be a fit for you if:
  • A hybrid work schedule is essential.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or 5-10 years of relevant industry experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in quotations within the Electrical Industry is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the following products is advantageous:
    • Medium Voltage Equipment such as MetalClad Switchgear, Metal Enclosed Switchgear, and Power Transformers.
    • Low Voltage Equipment including Low Voltage Draw-out Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Pad Mount Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, and basic Drives.
  • Knowledge of NEC equipment standards and local codes is essential.
  • Awareness of competitor offerings is beneficial.
  • A self-driven team player with strong time management, verbal, and written communication skills is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing company software and collaborative tools, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
