Cedar Park Med Trauma CNA Job Description

Cedar Park Med is seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our Level 1 Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care activities, including assisting with simple procedures, initiating CPR, and assisting with admitting, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work well in teams.
  • Show knowledge of normal growth and development and respond to changing patient needs.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Participate in team spirit and unit morale concerns, and act as a preceptor for new CNAs.
  • Obtain, record, exchange, and convey patient information accurately.
Requirements:
  • Current New York State certification as a CNA.
  • Ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR.
  • One year of patient care experience.
  • LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
