Addictions Treatment Specialist

Bridgeway Community Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Aide to join our Residential Treatment Program team.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals in our residential problem gambling and alcohol and drug treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the residential program, performing tasks as assigned by the program manager.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and community partners.
- Provide monitoring, care, and support to clients in accordance with Bridgeway Recovery Services policies.
- Ensure a safe and healthy living environment for clients.
- Assist clients in daily living tasks and social skills areas.
- Prepare and serve meals as directed by our culinary services department.
- Conduct hourly bed checks if working overnight.
- Accurately document support provided in client electronic health records.
- Transport clients to outside activities safely and prudently.
- Attend community meetings and participate in team discussions.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED).
- Peer Support Specialist or Traditional Health Worker certification is a plus.
- Must possess a current Oregon Food Handler card or become certified within two weeks of hire date.
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified or become certified within two weeks of hire date.
- Must possess a current and unrestricted Oregon Driver's License.
- Preference is given to candidates enrolled in a college-level degree program and working towards gaining certification in a Human Services field.

Compensation
- $16-18/hour, depending on experience and credentials. A $3.00 night shift differential stipend is paid as applicable.
- An additional stipend is available for bilingual Spanish/English employees.
