About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Risk Director to join our team at Ally Financial. As a key member of our Digital and AI Risk Team, you will play a critical role in leading our Generative AI risk management program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of risk professionals to govern the Generative AI risk program and prepare for emerging risks.
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape and establish metrics to measure risk.
  • Evolve processes to enable the implementation of Generative AI use cases across the enterprise within a defined risk framework.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships with Legal, Compliance, Model, and Independent Risk functions.
  • Work directly with executive leaders to integrate priorities and report on program outcomes.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of risk management or financial services experience.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technology.
  • Experience leading process improvement, process automation, and metric development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to establish programs that require coordination/collaboration across organizations.
