Maintenance Specialist-(HRA) Prospect

Job Summary

The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the assigned facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory environmental standards, and working harmoniously with staff in accordance with Comunilife principles and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the facility's interior and exterior entrances for cleanliness, including snow removal and removal of hazardous conditions.
  • Complete work orders assigned in an efficient and proficient manner.
  • Work in a pleasant and respectful manner with all clients.
  • Assist in fire safety and evacuation drills, procedures, and training.
  • Alert the direct supervisor, Asst. Director, Director, or designee, of any unusual occurrences or violation of rules and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs, including painting, patching, and sheet rocking, light plumbing, light electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Monitor heating and air conditioning systems, including logging and reporting problems and potential issues.
  • Take inventory of janitorial supplies, hand towels, toilet tissue, etc., regularly and ensure replacement.
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year maintenance experience. Must be able to demonstrate good skills in general maintenance, including cleaning, tiling, plumbing, heating, electrical, etc. Driver's License required for some locations.
