POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles powered by various fuel types, including electricity and gasoline. Your role will involve performing routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and oil changes, diagnosing intricate issues, and executing necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers in a timely manner
  • Gather customer and vehicle details
  • Accurately document all vehicle issues as reported by the customer
  • Assess and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history
  • Prepare detailed and precise cost estimates for labor and parts
  • Set follow-up appointments
  • Track the status of each vehicle throughout the day, providing regular updates to customers
  • Ensure that the final invoice aligns with the work completed on the repair order
  • Communicate all completed services and associated charges to customers
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a service advisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) focused
