Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Project Manager to join our team at TranSystems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and design of transportation facilities, including highways, arterials, intersections, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design team in the completion of technical efforts for roadway, traffic, drainage, and site design projects and reports.
  • Manage projects technically and financially to meet client expectations, ensuring quality projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow the business.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a Florida PE license (or licensed in another state with ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • At least 10 years of design experience, with a strong background in roadway design and project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and various engineering software systems, including AutoCAD, MicroStation/GeoPak, and Open Roads Designer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 to 20 years of FDOT design experience and Advanced MOT certification.
  • Masters Degree in engineering field (Civil, Structural).
