Roadway Foreman

Southland Holdings is seeking an experienced Roadway Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of roadway projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards.

• Manage roadway work activities, including project planning, execution, and quality control.
• Coordinate with field engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules and budgets are met.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on roadway projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground, concrete, and asphalt paving principles.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Outlook, Excel, and scheduling programs.
