Job Title: LPN, Allergy

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our Allergy team at Kaiser Permanente. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients with allergy-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and specialized care to patients with allergy-related conditions, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and providing patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and triage patients to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Washington or Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working in an ambulatory care setting, preferably in an allergy clinic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2+) years of experience as an LPN in an allergy clinic or similar setting.
  • IV therapy experience or recent certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
