Job Summary

We are seeking an Employment Supervisor to join our team at Mental Health Support Services in Chesterfield County, VA. As an Employment Supervisor, you will provide direct training, support, and advocacy to adults with intellectual disabilities in different employment settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision to staff working with persons with intellectual disabilities in group and individual employment settings.
  • Work with community businesses as the contract customer service contact and contract management representative.
  • Hire, supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff in the performance of their job duties.
  • Participate in an administrative/behavior on-call rotation with other Supervisors that requires three or four 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. shifts a month.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services field.
  • One year of experience working with adults with mental disabilities.
  • Two years of supervisory experience as well as two years of experience supporting persons with intellectual disabilities in community-based settings preferred.
