Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled LVN Preceptor to join our team. As a key member of our hemodialysis health care team, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
- Assist with clinical orientation and on-going training of direct patient care personnel
- Function as a preceptor in direct patient care training programs
- Deliver and maintain on-going competency evaluations/audits
- Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator in driving FKC quality standards
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Attendance and active participation in all applicable preceptor training programs
- Attends FKC and publicly offered skill-based training as assigned by Clinical Manager
Working Conditions:
The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
Physical Demands:
The position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting and moving of patients, and assisting with ambulation.
