Dialysis Therapist

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Preceptor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
• Assist with clinical orientation and ongoing training of direct patient care personnel
• Function as a preceptor in direct patient care training programs
• Deliver and maintain ongoing competency evaluations/audits
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator to drive FKC quality standards

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
• Current appropriate state licensure
• Attendance and active participation in all applicable preceptor training programs
• Attends FKC and publicly offered skill-based training as assigned by Clinical Manager
• History of high performance as measured by no lower than a commendable performance evaluation rating on reviews with no recent corrective actions
