Materials Coordinator

Job Summary:
Brooks Automation is seeking a Materials Handler to join our team. As a Materials Handler, you will be responsible for coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules. You will ensure materials are properly routed, pick up and deliver materials within and outside the company, and may maintain records on material flow.
Responsibilities:
* Perform a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.
* Ensure materials are properly routed.
* Pick up and deliver materials within and outside the company.
* May maintain records on material flow.
* May monitor flow of materials and parts between departments.
* May expedite parts to remedy shortage problems.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse and inventory / material handling.
* Good communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently.
* Proficient computer skills, to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
