At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Echo Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Cardiac Echo Diagnostic Imaging Specialist utilizes advanced ultrasound technology and techniques to produce and evaluate images that aid physicians in rendering medical diagnoses. This position requires the ability to acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care, including the injection of contrast media when necessary and implementing life-saving measures as required.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree from an accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent is essential.
  • Prior experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred but not mandatory.
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association is required, with Registry eligibility within 1 year of hire strongly advised.

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate safe and knowledgeable practice skills at all times, adhering to established Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to prepare and administer IV contrast safely and effectively.
  • Able to recognize abnormal structures and correlate this information into a useful study.
  • Capacity to adapt to new techniques and develop innovative approaches as needed.
  • Proficiency in utilizing ancillary devices, such as selected transducers.
  • Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, negotiable sign-on bonus available. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
