Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away carts or baskets, and cleaning fitting rooms.
- Operate a point-of-sale cash register system to ensure accurate transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Assist customers with questions, concerns, and purchases, and provide accurate information about products and services.
- Work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays, with occasional overtime as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- One-year retail sales or cash handling experience desired.
- Ability to use basic math, such as adding, subtracting, and multiplication, and to operate a computer-based cash register and credit card machine.
- Ability to withstand prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to eight hours per day.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
