Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Florida Reproductive Specialists by IVF Florida. As a key member of our fertility care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Counsel patients through fertility treatment, providing expert care and support throughout their journey.
- Assist the fertility team in ensuring all necessary consents are obtained and returned in a timely manner.
- Coordinate patient care for assigned physicians, including IVF, Embryo Transfer, and Egg Vitrification patients.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to patient questions regarding their cycle and calendar, as well as fertility education and resources.
- Offer emotional and compassionate support to patients throughout their fertility journey.
- Ensure all required labs and diagnostic testing are completed within designated timeframes, in accordance with FDA and CDC guidelines.
- Review patient charts to identify potential medical problems requiring evaluation prior to fertility treatment.
- Perform routine patient assessments, including height, weight, and vital signs.
- Responsible for detailed and accurate documentation in each patient's chart.
- Triangulate phone calls and portal messages from the IVF/FET nurse line and/or portal, providing instructions per patient's treatment plan.
- Develop OR schedules in coordination with the OR and embryology departments, as needed.
- Follow up with patients post-treatment and post-procedure to assess for any additional needs or emergent signs/symptoms.
- Continuously monitor established pregnancies with physician direction during the first 10-12 weeks of gestation.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed for SART data reporting.
- Serve as a clinical point person in support of the Clinical Nurse Manager, overseeing daily clinical operations.
- Active RN license
- 1+ years of clinical RN experience
- Women's health, OB/GYN, or fertility experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
