Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients, administering oral solutions, and processing specimens for testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients according to established procedures.
  • Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
  • Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems.
  • Process specimens for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management and sanitizing equipment.
  • Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
