We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our construction crews on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and installation of pipes for water and wastewater treatment plants, both above ground and underground.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a holistic overview of the job site.
- Provide direction to crafts and trades to ensure quality and efficient work.
- Work alongside craft workers to accomplish tasks, teaching and training means and methods.
- Coordinate work between crews and workers to minimize workspace conflicts.
- Collaborate with the superintendent or site foreman on daily activities and the overall project plan.
- Perform work safely, aware of surroundings, other work being performed, and other workers on the job site.
- Ensure all work is done per plans and specifications.
- 3+ years of construction experience.
- Construction experience with water/wastewater treatment plants, including interior and exterior pipe work.
- Prior experience as a Foreman in construction is required.
- Knowledge of general construction safety and trench safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Ability to cut and thread pipe (preferred).
- Ability to read and understand pipe drawings, specifications, and installation instructions.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (preferred).
- Ability to read general construction drawings and Site Plans.
