School Psychologist Role Overview

Soliant is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team in a collaborative school environment near Holyoke, MA. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to support student success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver crisis intervention and consultative support to students, staff, and families.
  • Offer training and guidance for staff on topics such as mental health, behavior management, and learning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts school psychologist certification.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A dedication to fostering positive educational outcomes for students.

Compensation Package:

Hourly rate: Up to $55 per hour (based on experience). Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and eligible dependents. Additional compensation opportunities may arise with specialized certifications or relevant experience.
