Job Title: RN - Pre Op

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Preoperative team at St. David's HealthCare. As a Preoperative Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients from admission to surgery. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a preoperative or perioperative setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service excellence.
