We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Complete Care at Park Place Center. As an RN Floor Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor Residents' Health: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure their well-being.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor residents' responses to care.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet residents' unique needs.
- Coordinate and Supervise Care: Supervise and coordinate the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff members to ensure high-quality care.
- Document Resident Information: Accurately document residents' medical histories, care plans, and progress to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to Medical Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, and provide immediate care as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure Infection Control: Implement and maintain infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
- Manage Medical Equipment: Safely operate and maintain medical equipment to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, and advocate for their rights and dignity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- RN/LPN Certification: Hold a current RN/LPN certification in the state of New Jersey.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
