Job Description

As a Process Yield Optimization Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in the production of our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You will work closely with our internal teams and external suppliers to identify and resolve process-related issues that may impact product yield and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will handle the identification, diagnosis, and correction of characteristics of the FEOL or BEOL process or layout issues which limit product yield and performance.
  2. You will design experiments for FEOL and BEOL process module improvements.
  3. You will define and drive statistical yield, electrical test, and defect data analysis with foundries.
  4. You will handle foundry partners for timely execution of plans for process and performance improvements and product ramp.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in integration modules such as Fin and STI formation, Spacer, Silicide, Stress Engineering, High-K Metal Gate, Lithography, Etch, CMP technologies
Compensation and Benefits
