MATERIAL HANDLER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and stacking lumber efficiently.
  • Preparing loads for shipment.
  • Assisting with saw machine operations as needed (training provided for suitable candidates).
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse by removing wood debris and trash.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills; must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
  • Willingness to stand for the duration of the shift without physical restrictions.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential; candidates must arrive on time.
  • Must provide verifiable references.
  • Availability to work the full shift and flexibility for overtime as required.

Additional Information:

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential weekend shifts as needed.

New hires will undergo 3-5 days of training to ensure readiness for independent work.

Weekly pay structure is in place.

Education Requirements:

High School: Completion of high school education is necessary.

Trade School/College: Relevant education from a trade school or college is a plus.
