Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (CVOR) to join our team in Orlando, Florida. As a key member of our cardiovascular operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate hemodynamic/physiologic recording, digital cineangiographic, and electrophysiologic equipment.
- Perform and interpret hemodynamic waveforms.
- Operate complex physiologic recording computer systems, including routine programs for diagnostic procedures and special measurement programs for interventional procedures.
- Maintain storage and retrieval systems for all records.
- Recognize and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
- Prepare surgical trays, instruments, contrast media, room, and patient for scheduled procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, EP studies, pacemaker implantation, and related procedures in the CICU and OR.
- Active Florida or multi-state RN license.
- National certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required, with experience in pediatric specialty area preferred.
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification.
