Job Summary:

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Grady Health System's Main Hospital. This is a full-time day shift position in our Burn ICU Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations required to maintain our department's programs of services.
  • Develop and implement education and training programs, set related goals and objectives, recommend policies, and evaluate program outcomes.
  • Utilize initiative to plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate educational and clinical experiences, focusing on patient/family, staff nurses, and health organizations/systems.

Requirements:

  • Masters (MSN) or Doctorate Degree in Nursing is required.
  • A minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience is required.
  • Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Certified AHA ECC Instructor - BLS (required within 6 months of hire), ACLS and/or PALS (desired).

Salary: $83,000 - $115,000 per year.

About the Role: The Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical leadership, serve as a role model and facilitator of learning and resource for the translation of skills and knowledge into clinical practice.
