About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our building, including equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various cleaning equipment, including buffers, sweepers, and vacuums, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Climb stairs and lift up to 40 pounds to perform tasks as needed.
  • Maintain clean and well-stocked restrooms, including restocking supplies and ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures to colleagues.
  • Responsible for keeping all areas of the building in a safe and clean condition.
  • Work with assigned staff to ensure cleanliness of all locker room areas.
  • Assist with ordering housekeeping supplies and performing related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work days, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • General housekeeping knowledge and experience using cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.
