RUSH University Medical Center invites applications for the position of Division Chief of Hematology, Oncology & Cell Therapy.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, innovation, and operational excellence to drive clinical and academic performance within the Department of Internal Medicine. This leader will champion talent acquisition, professional development, and retention efforts for the Division and RUSH- MD Anderson Cancer Center regional sites.

A strong record of collaborative leadership, commitment to excellence in clinical, research, and academic service is essential. The successful candidate must also be committed to mentoring faculty, trainees, and medical students. In addition, (s)he will have credentials that merit appointment as Professor, an MD or equivalent degree, board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, a demonstrated commitment to innovation, and leadership skills necessary for guiding faculty development and advancement across research, clinical, and academic missions.

This opportunity offers a chance to work closely with the Department Chairperson and the Cancer Center Director to maintain and grow clinical, educational, and research programs. As a hub for services throughout the health system, our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center facility in Chicago serves as a catalyst for interdisciplinary teams to further research and faculty development.
