About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Leadership Role professional to join our team at UC Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our organization's information security operations.

Job Description

This role will oversee and manage the overall information security program for UC Health, ensuring that all aspects of information security are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, as well as experience with numerous security technologies, including Active Directory and Entra ID, MFA, SSO, EDR/XDR, SIEM, Firewall, DDOS, Network Segmentation. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of IT systems, including development of system requirements and related solution specifications.
  • Direct the security incident response process, conducting security assessments and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect our organization from potential threats, identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks.
  • Support our organization's privacy operations by ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and policies, working with the privacy team to develop and implement privacy policies and procedures, conducting privacy impact assessments, and managing data breach response activities.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring that all policies are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and taking into account the location and experience required for the role.
