Position Overview:
WorkFit Medical Staffing, PLLC is collaborating with a reputable long-term care establishment to deliver outstanding Certified Nursing Aides to support residents on a contract basis. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA who enjoys working with individuals and is available for weekend shifts.

Compensation:
Pay range: $19 - $21 hourly

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing
  • Availability to work 4 shifts per week, each lasting 8 hours
  • Current physical examination, up-to-date immunizations (MMR & PPD), successful completion of federal background check, drug screening, and positive references required
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Maintain a positive demeanor with colleagues, patients, nursing staff, and clients

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and monitor residents as needed, adhering to individualized care plans
  • Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and managing catheter bags
  • Prepare meal trays, document food and fluid intake, and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Help residents with mobility, ensuring safety when transitioning from beds or chairs
  • Maintain cleanliness in residents' spaces and assist bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
  • Provide assistance with oral, ear, and eye care for residents
  • Uphold resident confidentiality, treat individuals with kindness and respect, and comply with Residents' Rights while promptly reporting any complaints or incidents to a supervisor
