Job Summary
The MathWorks Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic University of Florida MATLAB Student Ambassador to represent our brand and products on campus. As a Student Ambassador, you will be responsible for promoting MathWorks' presence among students, faculty, and staff, and for fostering a community of MATLAB enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Awareness: Develop and implement creative strategies to increase awareness of MathWorks' brand and products among students, faculty, and staff.
- Event Planning: Plan and organize events on campus to demonstrate the capabilities of MATLAB and Simulink, and to promote MathWorks' products and services.
- Community Engagement: Identify and engage with prominent student organizations related to Engineering, Math, Science, and Finance, and work with them to promote MathWorks' products and services.
- Social Media: Utilize social media outlets and prevalent communication channels at the university to spread awareness of MathWorks' products and services, and to promote MathWorks' presence on campus.
- Recruiting Events: Promote MathWorks' presence at university career fairs, information sessions, and other recruiting events.
Requirements
- Education: Pursuing a bachelor's level degree in a technical discipline.
- Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
- Skills: Proficient in MATLAB, familiarity with Simulink a plus; strong interpersonal skills; passion for social media; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong time management skills; and ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
