About the Role

The MathWorks is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to serve as a MATLAB Student Ambassador at the University of Florida. As a representative of MathWorks, you will play a key role in promoting our products and services to students and faculty on campus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase awareness of MathWorks products and services among students and faculty.
  • Collaborate with student organizations and academic departments to plan and execute events that showcase the capabilities of MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Utilize social media platforms to share information about MathWorks products and services, as well as to promote MathWorks presence on campus.
  • Promote MathWorks at university career fairs, information sessions, and other recruiting events.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and familiarity with Simulink.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for social media and event planning.
  • Undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing, with at least 2 semesters remaining in the degree program (preferably in Engineering).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
