Are you a highly organized and skilled administrative professional seeking a challenging role in office operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Operations Specialist to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. in Troy, MI.

About the Role

This is a temp-to-hire position offering a competitive hourly rate of $22.00 per hour.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

In this key support role, you will be responsible for overseeing business operations at our sales and engineering office, which services approximately 40-70 staff members on any given day. Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining and ordering office supplies, as well as special sales and marketing materials upon request
  • Preparing expense reports and invoices for AP/AR
  • Coordinating staff meetings, including sending out invitations, checking technology, and arranging catering
  • Participating in party planning and team-building activities, such as creating company fliers, sending notifications, making nametags, decorating, and contacting vendors
  • Providing light HR administrative support, including preparing for new hire orientation, entering employees into the system, creating badges, and communicating with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors via email, phone, letter, and in person
  • Assisting with various projects and requests, prioritizing tasks, and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Administrative Assistant or Office Manager, with a proven track record of taking ownership of responsibilities and handling day-to-day administrative operations
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors
  • Tech savviness and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, calendars, Teams, Excel spreadsheets, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
