Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The chosen candidate will work in a home health setting primarily with pediatric patients, providing personalized and effective occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic activities to address clients' developmental goals, promoting optimal growth and independence.
- Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide family education and support to ensure effective carryover of therapeutic interventions, empowering families to continue progress at home.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, tracking milestones and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona State License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous experience working with pediatric clients is preferred.
- Article 9 Certification.
