Assistant Manager

Reports to: Restaurant General Manager

FLSA status type: Non-Exempt Full-Time Hourly

Position Overview

Ambrosia QSR is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, leading a high-performing team, and driving business results. Key Responsibilities

Profitability
  • Ensure all food is prepared to company standards and safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage inventory, labor, and cash handling to drive profitability.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to achieve business objectives.
Guests
  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
  • Resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor guest feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
Team
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Monitor team performance, providing coaching and feedback to improve results.
Operations
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, and safety protocols are in place.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Monitor and control equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of direct food/retail management experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, guests, and management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
