We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care team at Ascension Saint Agnes Health Center in Catonsville, Maryland.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled physician to provide high-quality medical services to patients and work collaboratively with our experienced healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association.
- Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
