This role is critical to maintaining workplace safety standards.


Deliver comprehensive training programs for both new hires and existing staff, as well as temporary workers, focusing on the safe handling, storage, recycling, shipping, and transportation of warehouse goods and products in line with Material Handler (MH) and Equipment Operator (EO) responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
80% Conduct training or re-training sessions on various topics, including but not limited to:

- Effective use of RF (Radio Frequency) equipment.

- Safe unloading and loading procedures.

- Operation of motorized equipment such as cherry-pickers and motorized pallet jacks, including counterbalance lifts with attachments like forks and clamps.

- Disassembly, reassembly, or repair of products, materials, or equipment.

- Sorting, baling, weighing, loading, and recycling materials per customer specifications.

- Attaching identifying tags or labels, or marking information on containers.

- Preparing shipping orders for various customer products.

- Adhering to specialized customer account procedures.

- Implementing safety policies and procedures relevant to each job function.

- Assisting in the development and enhancement of training materials.

20% Ensure Employee Safety by:
- Conducting daily safety observations.

- Collaborating with Agency On-Site to foster a culture of safety.

- Providing safety recommendations to management.

- Reporting near misses and safety violations in the Safety Incident Management System (SIMS).

Essential Job Functions:

- Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

- Collaborate effectively with team members.

- Engage with employees and associates in a professional manner.

- Complete assigned tasks and projects within designated timelines.

- Train and monitor the progress of new employees and associates.

- Work alongside management to assess associate progress and suggest improvement actions.

- Participate in or lead a KAIZEN initiative at least once per quarter.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:


To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform all essential duties of MH and EO independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Multi-lingual abilities are preferred.

A high school diploma or GED along with one year of relevant experience is preferred.
