Senior Nursing Leader

Samuel Contract Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our esteemed team.
In this vital role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest quality of care for residents in our senior living community. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be instrumental in guiding our nursing staff and upholding our commitment to resident well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to a team of nurses, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe and effective care delivery system.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage the nursing department budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to meet resident needs.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuously striving to enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of Illinois.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role within a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
