Looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a ADON to be part of  our Senior Living & Health Care team

What Will You Do in This Role:As an Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.

Qualifications:
  • A fire and passion for working with seniors.
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
  • Currently licensed as a RN in Illinois.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
  • Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred.
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, direct and monitor the delivery of health care and related health and medical services.
  • Provide direct supervision to nurses.
  • Plan, develop and implement procedures and policies that enhance the quality of life for people receiving services.
  • Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and nursing practice standards.
  • Develop and implement nursing department budgets in coordination with our management team.
  • Provide effective nurse management that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving support and services.
  • Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related support and services.
  • Ensure that patient care plans contain accurate documentation and are amended as needed.
