Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to join our team at Protouch Staffing. As a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating patient exams, scheduling patient exams, ordering, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient exams to maintain workflow
  • Assist in scheduling patient exams
  • Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Acquire and process diagnostic imaging procedure records for radiopharmaceutical administration to patients
  • Record patient history and information pertinent to the exam
  • Receive and record appropriate information regarding the receipt and disposal of radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals
  • Request and coordinate all necessary patient information including medical history, physician orders, and insurance authorization
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine technology
  • Minimum of one year experience in nuclear medicine
  • Registered by either the ARRT or NMTCB and state license (Required)
